Atlantic Station – Life Happens Here

Tour on Wednesday, May 3
Live – Work – Play
www.atlanticstation.com

Brian M. Leary, Vice President of Design and Development, Atlantic Station L.L.C, kicks off the exclusive tour of Atlantic Station with a presentation on the sustainable mixed-use project. Followed by a special walking tour, which will be split-up into small groups to facilitate discussion, this preview will offer an opportunity for questions and answers from key industry professionals along the way. Visit several of the retail, office and residential developments currently under construction or completed. Learn more about the products used and the design techniques applied that make this a truly green environment. See the site plan and model firsthand, plus take a unique look at the project from the Wachovia office building, a cornerstone of Atlantic Station.

The Atlantic Station community is a 138-acre environmental redevelopment and reclamation of the former Atlantic Steel Mill in Midtown Atlanta being developed by AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. and Atlanta-based Jacoby Development, Inc. (JDI). Once complete, the community will include 15 million square feet of retail space (including IKEA, Target, GAP, Dillard’s and many more stores and restaurants), office space (including AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp., Wachovia Bank and more) , residential developments (lofts, townhouses, condos) and hotel space, as well as 11 acres of public parks.

Environmental design at Atlantic Station includes remediation efforts, stormwater management, air quality, energy, recycled materials, transportation and more. To demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, the 171 17 th Street building at Atlantic Station pursued LEED certification. The 500,000-square-foot office tower at Atlantic Station is the first LEED Silver Core & Shell certified high-rise office building in the world and the first high-rise office building in Georgia to receive any LEED certification.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn more about the green life at Atlantic Station! Hop onboard the MARTA after the conference and head over to the site for the presentation and walking tour. Afterwards, stay and enjoy all the fine dining, shopping and entertainment offered at one of Atlanta's greenest destinations.
